Ted practices in the area of commercial law and has been involved in various enterprises including counsel for a regional airline in such matters as financing and commercial acquisitions. He provides advice and assistance in organizing of business structures and non-profit entities.
Ted also provides employment and labour advice to businesses, non-profit organizations and employee associations. He is counsel for a regional aboriginal employee association in matters such as grievance arbitration and collective agreement negotiations.
Ted works extensively with First Nations communities and organizations in Northern Ontario, with an emphasis on commercial matters. He has represented several First Nations and First Nations groups in matters such as treaty entitlement issues, flooding and timber compensation, and joint-venture opportunities. He also advises and assists with the organization and reorganization of non-profit corporations. Ted shares his knowledge and expertise by presenting seminars, such as construction issues on First Nations reserves.
Ted earned his Bachelors of Science degree at Lakehead University in 1989, and graduated J.D. from the University of Toronto in 1992.
