
Sept 20, 2010 - Nicole Crowe is now practicing for Erickson & Partners
Erickson & Partners is delighted to announce that Nicole Crowe (neé Richmond) has joined the firm as of September 20, 2010. Nicole is a member of Pic River First Nation, and has returned to northwestern Ontario with her new husband, Korie. Nicole is a great addition to our team and adds strength to our firm’s services.
Nicole received her B.A. from McMaster University, where she was awarded the President’s Award for Excellence in Student Leadership. She then went on to complete her law degree at the University of Toronto, where she was the Co-Editor in Chief of the Indigenous Law Journal, and was elected to the executive of the Indigenous Bar Association. On graduating, Nicole was awarded the Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award, which recognizes the qualities of leadership and dedication in students who have made outstanding extra-curricular contributions to their faculties.

Dec 23, 2009 - Robert Edwards will be the final Royal Bank of Canada community torch bearer.
Erickson & Partners are pleased to announce that Robert Edwards will be the final Royal Bank of Canada community torch bearer when the Olympic Flame comes to Thunder Bay on January 3. He was selected to represent the community in recognition of his volunteer work with local sports.
The 2010 Olympic torch began its journey across Canada on Oct. 30, and it will reach Vancouver, British Columbia on Feb. 12 where it will light the Olympic cauldron to officially commence the 2010 Olympic Games.

Dec 12, 2009 - Erickson & Partners participated in the Salvation Army Christmas Kettle campaign
On Saturday, December 12, 2009, Erickson & Partners volunteered to help raise funds for the Salvation Army’s Kettle Campaign. Erickson & Partners are proud to have this opportunity to help give back to the community during this annual event, which helps raise funds that will be used to enhance the lives of many Thunder Bay citizens.

Dec 1, 2009 - Ruby E. Van Bendegem is now practicing for Erickson & Partner
Erickson & Partners is extremely pleased to announce that Ruby E. Van Bendegem, who has been working as a non-practicing legal researcher, has returned to the practice of law.
Ruby graduated from the University of Western Ontario and was called to practice in Ontario in 1986. Ruby is a former member of the New Brunswick Bar, having previously practiced civil litigation in New Brunswick from 1988 to 1991. She has worked as a researcher in all areas of Erickson & Partners' practice for the past 13 years, and is now returning to practice to assist and enhance Erickson & Partners litigation team.
