Morris has represented clients before the Provincial and Superior Courts of Justice, Ontario Court of Appeal, Federal Court of Canada, and various provincial and federal administrative tribunals. His professional experience in estate matters includes litigating and resolving claims against an estate, disputes over Will interpretation, issues concerning Powers of Attorney, and applications for Court-appointed Guardians. Morris has also represented clients across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including shareholder disputes, complex construction claims, security enforcement and debt collection including defending against such claims, and issues relating to land ownership and use.
Morris also provides advice in relation to various intellectual property matters including securing and enforcing trade-mark rights. He is a registered Trade-mark agent in Canada, and has assisted clients in securing trade-mark and related protection in the United States and other countries.
Morris earned undergraduate degrees at Queens University in Chemistry, and Economics and Political Science. He received his LL.B. from the University of Ottawa in 1985.
