Chris has extensive experience before all levels of courts in Ontario. He has done numerous jury and non-jury wrongful dismissal, personal injury, corporate-commercial and construction trials. Chris represents motor vehicle and slip and fall accident victims in serious personal injury matters, including wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries and disability litigation, including family members of individuals who have either been injured or killed.

Chris represents many organizations in Thunder Bay with respect to labour and employment, including collective bargaining negotiations, grievance arbitrations and other issues, both in the organized and non-organized sectors. He frequently conducts seminars on employment and labour relations issues.

Chris is a frequent lecturer on construction law issues. He has done numerous presentations to members of the Thunder Bay Construction Association and other organizations on issues such as contract procurement, tendering, delay claims and construction liens. Chris is one of the region’s most experienced legal advisors in the field of medical and health law. Chris has prepared a number of legal opinions on medical issues for local and regional hospitals, and has represented hospitals and physicians in dealing with the granting of hospital privileges.

Chris earned his Honours B.A. at the University of Western Ontario in London in 1983, graduated with his LL..B. from the University of Ottawa in 1989, and furthered his studies by completing the Canadian Securities course.
